    We're back with another contest!  This month we want to see all the different ways that housebloggers can complete the following sentence:


    "After I got the keys to my house, the first thing I changed was..."


    We want to hear all about that very first DIY project you completed, once you had the keys in your hand. Was it removing the shabby floral wallpaper you just couldn't stand?  Did you change the layout or purpose of a room?  How about new cabinets for the kitchen? Whatever the project, we want to hear about it!


    What can you win?


    True Value wants to hear your stories, so we’re offering up three (yup, count ‘em…three!) $300 AMEX gift cards to use at a local True Value store to spend on your next DIY project. The three lucky winners will be drawn at random.

    1.    If you haven’t already, register your houseblog with our site.  You can add your blog by creating an account and going to your profile page via the Account Options link.


    2.    Write a post about your first DIY project.  This can be any home improvement or repair inside your home, as well as landscaping.  At least one photo or a video is encouraged.  Post anytime this week – Monday, November 16 through Monday, November 23.

    But at the bottom of the rules, to view the entries it says blog entries tagged 'truevaluecontest-nov09'

    Wasn't sure which one pointed to contest entries.
