360-Degree Outlet

Yesterday we blogged lots of the new "gadgety" tools being introduced at the 2005 National Hardware Show. However, the expo features plenty of non-tool gadgets as well. Case in point: a 360-degree rotating duplex outlet that allow you to plug in those bulky electronics power sources without bumping in to each other.

Man, I miss the Hardware Show being in Chicago. Although it was hectic when I worked for Hyatt (we were overbooked...always), it was also great fun.

Also useful in Chicago, as for some bizarre reason, this appears to be the only place in the world where electrical outlets are installed sideways. I have a beautiful nightlight that I could actually view upright if I had one of these outlets.
