This article on a local journeyman chimney tuck-pointer focuses on the man's quirky character and dedication to his work.

Great, but for me the amazing part was that he quoted $200 for a week of work! Can you come do my place, too!?

Wow- He sounds like a great guy & it would be great to learn from him. I'd feel guilty only paying him $200 for a week's worth of work!

He can come and stay in my house for 3 weeks and redo all of my crumbling tuckpointing and I'll pay him double his current rate! That's the cheapest I've ever heard of for tuckpointing. Our neighbors were quoted 20k to do one side of their house.

He does sound like a great guy- I'd love to talk to him and learn from him.
