This made my day. I've always appreciated the huge influence HGTV has to inspire folks to take ownership for improving their homes, but haven't always agreed philosophically with their design focus. On the other hand, Sarah Susanka has been a genius at taking time-tested principles of good design and packaging them in a way that appeals to non-architects. Together, they could rule the world!

This HGTV web article, while modest in scope, is a step in a neat direction with lots of great possibilities. I hope they do more together...
