Housebloggers... Meet Houseblingers!

Posted by aaron on December 6, 2005 10:23 PM

People obsessed about decorating their house with holiday lights now have a name...and a website!

Visit houseblinger.com to see photos of the most tricked-out holiday lighting you've ever seen. The original website is British and was founded in 2004. Based in Essex, England, Jon Stanton and John Kevan started the website to honor the British sensibility for Christmas light shows.

Since then they've added a US version and also have their own blog to keep up on the regular updates to the site.

Currently the website features 72 British houses (including some apartments), each fairly well photographed from the outdoors. There's only one US-based home right now, so if you're reading this from Stateside, why not create an account and submit a photo and help build up their album?!
