If you're visiting Houseblogs.net for the first time via the Saturday edition of the Washington Post, welcome to this community of DIYers. Read on for ways you can become familiar with this site.

For those who haven't read it, the Washington Post's article Building Blogs features several housebloggers who are members of this site. Congratulations to those mentioned: Nightmare on Elm Street, Salvaged Beauty, The Home Improvement Ninja, House in Progress (full disclosure: we run Houseblogs.net too), and both Between Sea and Forest and The Devil Queen (both mentioned indirectly).

If it's your first time reading houseblogs, here are a few ways you can become familiar with this site and our community:
- Scan the directory of the 237 member houseblogs that contribute their stories to this site.
- Check out the map to see where all the contributing houseblogs are located.
- See what housebloggers have been working on by looking at a tag cloud that provides a visual representation of topics written about in the past.
- Ask a question or join the discussion in our houseblogs forum.

If you like what you see, you can also subscribe in order to keep up on the projects and stories housebloggers share via this site.

Thanks for visiting and hopefully we'll see you come back again some time soon!
