All of the new features can be found in an entirely new section of the site--the Houseblogs.net Community. Anyone can participate, and there are plenty of bells and whistles to benefit readers and houseblog writers alike.

Here are some things to try out:

Blogs - This is where you can sort, slice and dice the writing by our houseblogs members to your heart's content. The default view matches the houseblogs.net home page but there are a ton of features in there to narrow down the amount or types of houseblogs you'd like to see. Try the filters on the right hand side of the Blogs page to get started.

Profiles - Think of it as your 'about my house' page. Add as much or as little about yourself and your house as you like. Don't have a houseblog? No problem, upload some photos and share your house/condo/apartment/cardboard box, too.

Manage Your Blog - Want to swap in your blog's swanky new banner and replace your old one? Now you can do it as often as you like whenever you want...just go to your account page and use the 'My Blog' link on the side.

Friends - Like a particular houseblog? Have you found someone with the same house style that you have? Add them to your Friends list. After you do, be sure to try out the 'my friends' filter on the blog tab to keep track of the blog postings of your friends. :-)

Bookmarks - Find a blog entry you particularly like? Bookmark it! Bookmarks make it easy to find and save the blog entries you like the most.

Fast Search - Search the entire community quickly and see matching results in real time!

Tags - If you have a houseblog, you can now add tags to your own entries. If you're reading other housebloggers' blog entries, click on a tag (or view all of the tags) to quickly find similar content.
