We've just launched a new section here at Houseblogs.net--Topics! Available as a tab at the top of the home page, Topics will allow readers to surf the content of this site more easily by showing all our content about a specific subject (like kitchens, Victorian houses, or plumbing) all in one place.

As part of launching this new feature, we're also teaming up with the DIY Network cable television channel to feature houseblogs on the topic of log cabin construction. The DIY Network will be writing their own blog as they build a cabin in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains (which a lucky viewer will win, by the way). As part of their "Blog Cabin" promotion, they're featuring the log cabin bloggers who contribute to this site on their own blog sidebar.
